Happy New Year from Romania!

This year for New Year's we began the evening with a cooking competition among the kids. They were given a bag of groceries and had to come up with a meal and dessert from scratch. They did a wonderful job! Even with the same ingredients, the meals were completely different and delicious.

 After dinner, a movie and some dancing, they headed over to

Casa AnaNadia for some more friendly competitive games.

 One of the games they had to pop balloons by sitting on them, then retrieved the piece of the puzzle inside. Here is one team trying to assemble their puzzle;

 After the games most of the group bundled up and headed into town for the concert and fireworks. It was quite cold, but they got to see a great show!
