Thank You Jeff, Jenny, and Jack!

The McDonnell Family

 All of you who have visited Romania in the past two years, sponsored children, or read the blog have had the opportunity to interact with the McDonell family on some level.  Jeff and Jenny have been an important part of our staff in Romania for the past two years, and their main focus was to minister to the twenty-one kids in the Livada group homes. They were able to do this by offering Bible studies for a group of the boys and a group of the girls from the houses, by doing devotions at night with the kids, and by modeling a strong, Christian family for the kids to learn from. They also helped host teams, organize a leadership Bible study for a group of LOC staff members, communicate with sponsors in the States, plan and organize parties for different events and holidays, and by truly focusing on building relationships with kids. Their efforts to invest in the kids lives will forever be remembered and appreciated by the kids and staff of Livada.

Happy Birthday, Jack!

Please pray for Jeff, Jenny and Jack as they transition back into life in America after serving faithfully in Romania for the past two years.  Pray that God gives them rest, encouragement, and strength as they face this huge change. Pray for those of us who remain in Romania as we have said goodbye to fellow colleagues and also good friends.  Pray for God to continue to raise up those who He chooses to come and serve in Romania as we move forward. Pray for the kids whose lives have been impacted by their relationships with the McDonnells that they too will be able to adjust as they feel their absence here in Romania.
